NHS walk: This is the second walk of the month to help those who may not be so active and would like to try to get some exercise. Snowy walk: A collection of dogs and 23 humans braved the snow showers on Saturday for the village walk to Yalding and back along stretches of the Beult. They were rewarded with an excellent lunch of soup, quiche, pate, ham, salad, cheeses and cakes at the village club. A further 14 less hardy souls joined them in raising money for the club roof, work on which is due to start shortly. Further walks are planned for later in the year.
