Coffee cash split between charities each month

-

Worshippers and friends of Bearsted Methodist Church put the kettle on for a charity coffee morning. The monthly get-togethers at the church in Ware Street have been going on for 30 years and are well attended by around 30 to 35 people. There are two aspects to each meeting: charges for the coffee or tea go to support a favoured charity, while income from the sale of cakes, books and puzzles go to support the church fabric fund. This month raised £85 for the church and £65 for Arthritis Research.
