Grants to help keep Kent safe

Kent po­lice com­mis­sioner Matthew Scott is invit­ing groups to bid for a share of two funds cre­ated to help de­liver his Safer in Kent plan.

The Safer in Kent fund is worth £150,000 and is tar­geted at vol­un­tary, char­ity, and com­mu­nity groups to sup­port in­no­va­tive projects.

A fur­ther £150,000 is avail­able from the Men­tal Health and Polic­ing Fund, which sup­ports schemes to re­duce de­mand on po­lice time.
