Fun on the fairways

-

It was tee time in Maidstone when Cobtree Manor Park Golf Course hosted an open day.

There was a chance to try out the 9-hole pitch and putt circuit or to compete for the longest drive, as well as family fun in the form of face painting, a bouncy castle and a barbecue.

There were also special membership offers, health checks and golf demonstrations.

The free event took place at the 18-hole course in Chatham Road.

Spokesman Aaron Harris said: “The open day was to promote what we do as a company and to increase awareness of our schemes to help new golfers from grassroots and upwards.”

The course is run by mytime active, a charitable company that works to promote better health and fitness in the community.
