Fundraising sale
Visitors to a charity sale could enjoy a range of products while donating to a worthy cause.
Maidstone Mencap held its plants, cakes, and books sale at its Cobtree Hall home in Mote Park. The charity, which supports people with learning disabilities, is fighting to increase donations due to increased running costs.
The group also had to pay £66,000 last year to replace the roof at Cobtree Hall.
Maidstone Mencap runs a playschool and various clubs for children aged five and upwards.
