Theresa’s the new head mas­ter

A coura­geous teach­ing as­sis­tant had her hair clipped as she ‘braved the shave’ to raise cash for Macmil­lan Can­cer Sup­port.

Theresa Samways, who works at South Bor­ough Pri­mary School, had her locks lopped off as she surged to­wards a £200 cash tar­get for the char­ity which helps those suf­fer­ing from can­cer and sup­ports their fam­i­lies.

Theresa ded­i­cated the shave to fam­ily and friends – in­clud­ing her mother, who had can­cer three times.

On Thurs­day, col­leagues brought out the clip­pers out­side the class­room and helped Theresa com­plete the chal­lenge as chil­dren from the Stagshaw Close school cheered en­cour­age­ment.
