Theresa’s the new head master
A courageous teaching assistant had her hair clipped as she ‘braved the shave’ to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Theresa Samways, who works at South Borough Primary School, had her locks lopped off as she surged towards a £200 cash target for the charity which helps those suffering from cancer and supports their families.
Theresa dedicated the shave to family and friends – including her mother, who had cancer three times.
On Thursday, colleagues brought out the clippers outside the classroom and helped Theresa complete the challenge as children from the Stagshaw Close school cheered encouragement.
Theresa is close to reaching her goal and has raised £170 so far. Donations can be made via tinyurl.com/samways
