Pupils show off their talents
Artists and music stars of the future displayed their talent during a showcase at South Borough Primary School.
Pupils blew parents and teachers away with a recorder recital and paintings provided a colourful backdrop to a day of creative displays.
The event, last Monday, invited parents and carers to a two-hour art show inspired by work inspired by various artistic methods children have learnt from the past two years.
Art work varied from historical artist studies, colour theory, tonal value, sketching, painting, oil pastels, mod roc, clay, cardboard relief and printing paper sculpture.
Musical and drama performances were also put in place as pupils learnt art comes in all kinds of different formats.
The school, in Stagshaw Close, also had two pupils dress as Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo to usher parents and carers around the school throughout the event.
