Biker killed in lorry crash

A mo­tor­cy­clist has died after be­ing hit by a lorry on a mo­tor­way.

Po­lice were called to the coast­bound car­riage­way of the M20 near junc­tion 2 for Wrotham and Sevenoaks at about 6am on Fri­day.

The mo­tor­cy­clist, a 49-yearold man who lived near Folke­stone, died at the scene.

Part of the coast­bound car­riage­way was closed for al­most eight hours. It re­opened just be­fore 2pm.

Of­fi­cers are ap­peal­ing for any­one who has not yet spo­ken to them to come for­ward.

Three peo­ple were taken to hospi­tal after a sec­ond in­ci­dent in­volv­ing two ve­hi­cles hap­pened at the same spot shortly after.

None of the in­juries were life threat­en­ing.
