Students enjoy sports discovery day
Seventy students with special needs had the chance to try different sports at a discovery day. The youngsters who came from three different schools and a college were able to try a wide range of activities including basketball, arts and crafts, trampolining, handball, judo, boxing, gymnastics, short tennis, boccia, sitting volleyball and zumba. It was held at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge and was organised by Tonbridge and Malling council. The sponsor was Fidelity International who also volunteered some of their staff to help run the day. The Tonbridge Lions Club also gave its support. The children were from Bower Grove School in Maidstone, Oakley School in Tunbridge Wells, Broomhill Bank School in Tunbridge Wells and Hadlow College.
