Looking ahead to post-Brexit world

I have noticed recently some letters in the Independent (online only now) suggesting it could be more propitious to write to your local paper re the Brexit downside than the nationals? MBC’s planning and KCC’s Highways departments. This has been a longstanding and critical missing element, which was clear from some of the frank exchanges between the two council leaders at the meeting.

I believe there is a willingness to fix this from both camps. Helen and I have resolved to work with the leaders, to find commonality and forge a way ahead for the best interests of the people of Maidstone. I’ll keep you informed.
