The move follows the closure of the bus company’s previous depot in St John’s Road last October.

That site, which had been home to Arriva and its predecessor companies for 80 years is being redeveloped as a care home.

The 48 buses previously based there have been in temporary accommodation at Cannon Lane, Tonbridge while the works are underway.

To celebrate the end of construction, Arriva is holding a family fun day on April 1.
