Woman badly in­jured in crash

A woman was flown to hos­pi­tal with se­ri­ous in­juries af­ter crash­ing her car into a tree.

The crash, in Nizels Lane, Hilden­bor­ough just be­fore 10.50am last Thurs­day, left the driver trapped.

Fire crews had to cut the roof off the black Re­nault Clio to free her.

She suf­fered a leg in­jury, and was taken to King’s Col­lege Hos­pi­tal in Lon­don by air am­bu­lance. Po­lice are now ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses.

A force spokesman said: “Of­fi­cers and South East Coast Am­bu­lance Ser­vice at­tended the scene where a woman in her 30s was treated for in­juries that are de­scribed as se­ri­ous.

“Of­fi­cers from the Se­ri­ous Col- li­sion In­ves­ti­ga­tion Unit are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the in­ci­dent and are ap­peal­ing for any wit­nesses who may have seen car im­me­di­ately be­fore or dur­ing the col­li­sion, or who have dash­cam footage to get in con­tact.”
