Caine Smith’s sec­ond-half hat-trick helped K Sports keep the pres­sure on Di­vi­sion 1 lead­ers Pun­jab. Sports beat strug­gling Crock­en­hill 9-0 on Satur­day thanks to Smith’s tre­ble, two each for Bai­ley Pearce and James Al­der­man and goals from Richard But­ler and Matt Gething. K Sports, who were three up at half-time, re­main a point off top spot and visit Meridian VP this week­end. Sn­od­land dropped to sev­enth af­ter a blank week­end and re­turn to ac­tion at home to Erith & Belvedere. Bearsted lost 5-0 at home to Premier Di­vi­sion lead­ers Sevenoaks. Trail­ing to By­ron Walker’s 19th-minute opener, Bears con­ceded four times af­ter the break. The goals came from Ja­son Thomp­son (52), Frankie Sawyer (66), Kenny Pogue (68) and Mark Jones (90) the scor­ers. Bears are with­out a game this week­end.
