What’s all this drama about?

-

A group of 19 young thespians from South Borough Primary School in Maidstone presented their latest production to an audience of parents and classmates.

Written and directed by Theresa Samways, who runs the drama club, the play was set in a holi- day camp, with visiting families from four decades: the Presleys, the Beatles, the Jacksons and the Skywalkers.

Unfortunately for the camp’s new manager, Major Thomas Fortescue, their belongings keep disappearing. But who is the thief?

The production included an hilarious chase scene, acted by the pupils and filmed outside the Stagshaw Close school, then screened during the performance.

Mrs Samways: said: “We’ve had a lot of positive feedback, with many saying it was our best ever show.”
