Trial set for crash driver
A van driver has admitted causing the death of a father and daughter by driving carelessly on the A299.
But Sivananthan Mathivathanan, 44, of Grange Road Broadstairs denies driving dangerously and will now face a trial in November.
Valentino Colman and Olivia died after they had pulled up behind a stationary Renault Clio on the A299 in Thanet.
The 49-year-old and 21-yearold had been travelling in a Toyota Aygo when they stopped and tragedy struck. Mr Coleman, known as Tino, owned One Hairdressing in Market Buildings, Maidstone.
