SEVERAL applications for new homes were approved at a planning committee meeting last week
Taylor Farm House in Bond Lane, Kingsnorth, will be transformed into two bungalows, with one and three bedrooms respectively.
The steel-framed barn and other outbuildings will be demolished and a new oak-framed garage constructed.
In another application, a detached house in Albert Road, Ashford, built in the 1960s, will be demolished and replaced with four new homes.
Three of these will be threestorey terraced houses, made up of a three-bedroom house, one four-bedroom house and a five-bedroom house.
There will also be a one-bedroom home and double garage. Four parking spaces will be provided.
Permission was also granted for nine apartments, one onebedroom and eight two-bedroom, to be built on land near Sturges Road, Ashford.
