Farm­house to be re­placed by bun­ga­lows

SEV­ERAL ap­pli­ca­tions for new homes were ap­proved at a plan­ning com­mit­tee meet­ing last week

Tay­lor Farm House in Bond Lane, Kingsnorth, will be trans­formed into two bun­ga­lows, with one and three bed­rooms re­spec­tively.

The steel-framed barn and other out­build­ings will be de­mol­ished and a new oak-framed garage con­structed.

In an­other ap­pli­ca­tion, a de­tached house in Al­bert Road, Ash­ford, built in the 1960s, will be de­mol­ished and re­placed with four new homes.

Three of th­ese will be three­storey ter­raced houses, made up of a three-bed­room house, one four-bed­room house and a five-bed­room house.

There will also be a one-bed­room home and dou­ble garage. Four park­ing spa­ces will be pro­vided.

Per­mis­sion was also granted for nine apart­ments, one onebed­room and eight two-bed­room, to be built on land near Sturges Road, Ash­ford.
