Dignity of unwell to be investigated
PATIENTS will be questioned as part of a new campaign to ensure hospitals respect people’s dignity and privacy.
The Ashford group of the Eastern and Coastal Kent Patient and Public Involvement Forum have joined forced with forums across the country to launch the Care Watch campaign.
Patients will be questioned throughout March about their experiences in hospital or while using other NHS services.
Chairman of Eastern and Coastal Kent PPI Forum, Janet Bentley said: “Wehope by questioning patients and their carers we will be able to highlight what works and sadly what needs further attention.”
