THE Hop Farm Coun­try Park at Pad­dock Wood will be bring­ing the me­dieval era to life this Easter week­end with spec­tac­u­lar joust­ing dis­plays. There will also be lots of me­dieval-themed fam­ily fun through­out the Easter break. Jesters, pup­peteers and chil­dren’s en­ter­tain­ment team The Hop Squad will be among the at­trac­tions. You will be able to cheer on your favourite dur­ing the interactive joust­ing and en­joy watch­ing the horse­men show off their skills. There will be a chance to try archery or de­sign your own coat of arms. And there will be all the usual Easter ac­tiv­i­ties, in­clud­ing egg paint­ing, a chance to meet an­i­mals and vis­its from Hop­per the Easter bunny. The Me­dieval Med­ley runs from April 2 to April 13. The first five cor­rect en­tries drawn will each re­ceive a fam­ily ticket to the Me­dieval Med­ley. 1. This com­pe­ti­tion is not open to em­ploy­ees (and their im­me­di­ate fam­i­lies) of the Kent Mes­sen­ger Group or any other com­pany as­so­ci­ated with it. 2. En­tries which are altered, il­leg­i­ble or not in ac­cor­dance with the rules will be dis­qual­i­fied. 3. Re­spon­si­bil­ity can­not be ac­cepted for en­tries lost or dam­aged. Proof of post­ing can­not be ac­cepted as proof of de­liv­ery. 4. The de­ci­sion of the judges, as ap­pointed by the Kent Mes­sen­ger Group, is fi­nal. 5. Only one en­try per per­son. 6. En­tries must be re­ceived by noon on March 16, 2007. The names of the win­ners will be pub­lished in this news­pa­per. There is no cash al­ter­na­tive to the prize.
