FRIENDS’ TRIBUTES

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - JUNCTION 10 -

WHEN pupils at Swadelands School heard of Daisy’s death they were moved to offer a tribute to the 14-year-old. Ties with poignant messages were hung around the tennis courts along withflowers. In a card to the family, Daisy’s English teacher, Claire Mahoney, said she had never seen such a reaction before. She wrote: “She was a beautiful girl who was so full of life. Daisy would never fail to make me smile because of her larger than life personality.” The head teacher of Swadelands , Richard Baddeley, said sports-loving Daisy was described by many of her teachers as a beautiful person who would always have a smile on her face. “She was vibrant and charismatic and will always be remembered as a wonderful friend who was always on hand to offer advice and support when needed,” he added.
