Stunning shots of eclipse
IT was worth wrapping up warm and heading out on Saturday evening to get a glimpse of the moon. The lunar eclipse began at 8.18pm and the moon was covered by the shadow of the earth between 10.44pm and 11.58pm. During totality, the moon took on a reddish hue. Lunar eclipses occur when the sun, earth and moon are in a near-perfect line. These stunning shots of the clear sky above Dymchurch were taken by our photographer Gary Browne.
