STAFF who work for the An­to­niou hair­dress­ing busi­ness in east Kent have been re­warded for their hard work at the com­pany’s third awards evening and din­ner.

It took place at Ash­ford’s In­ter­na­tional Ho­tel and was at­tended by em­ploy­ees and guests.

Owner Ge­orge An­to­niou said a new year brought with it res­o­lu­tions, new hopes and des­ti­na­tions and the ful­fil­ment of am­bi­tions.

“Our com­pany’s goals are all based on keep­ing us at the fore­front of this pro­fes­sion,” he said.

“Last year was suc­cess­ful and this year will be even bet­ter be­cause of you.

“We have the best and most ded­i­cated peo­ple work­ing for us.”

Award win­ners were: Lisa Col­lyer, Katie Topp, Joanne Palmer (Ash­ford salon).

Colleen Hop­kins (Pre­ston Street, Faver­sham); LisaMarie Creed and Gil­lian Knowler (West Street, Faver­sham); Emily Pritchard and Ser­ena Pre­ston (Can­ter­bury salon); Sasha Allard (Whit­stable salon).

Anne Gilham was se­nior staff mem­ber of the year and the salon of the year was the one in Pre­ston Street, Faver­sham.

Derek Melville won the com­pany’s se­nior staff pho­to­graphic com­pe­ti­tion and re­ceived £100 and a pair of scis­sors worth £100.
