Sto­ry­book he­roes in school pa­rade

PUPILS and staff at Downs View In­fants’ School dressed up as colour­ful char­ac­ters for a pa­rade on Fri­day as part of their arts and books week. Other ac­tiv­i­ties in­cluded a project on the artist Matisse by the whole school, and a visit from chil­dren’s au­thor Paul Ger­aghty. The school in Ball Lane, Ken­ning­ton, will be open­ing its art ex­hi­bi­tion to the pub­lic on Mon­day, March 26, be­tween 3pm and 9pm.
