Scouting memories at centenary show
WOODCHURCH museum is hosting a Scouting exhibition to mark the organisation’s centenary. Curator Geoff Loynes said: “We have badges, hats, pieces of uniforms, a Scout blanket with badges on it, an old Woodchurch Scout flag and some camping equipment including early stoves. “The Guides are also represented as they were involved at the start though they weren’t inaugurated until 1910.” The museum is open at weekends from 10am to 4pm and will open all week from Good Friday. For further information contact the museum on 01233 860586.
