THE Im­por­tance of Be­ing Earnest will be per­formed by Lyminge Dra­matic So­ci­ety next week from Wed­nes­day to Satur­day. The Os­car Wilde play satirises 19th-cen­tury fash­ions, man­ners and moral­ity. Tick­ets cost £7 for adults and £3.50 for chil­dren, but are half­price on the open­ing night. Se­nior cit­i­zens can see the dress re­hearsal for free on Tues­day at 7.45pm. All per­for­mances are in the vil­lage hall and start at 7.45pm.
