Medical secretary’s milestone
COLLEAGUES past and present joined friends and family last week to throw a surprise party for Carol Moore to celebrate a quarter of a century working at Wye surgery. Carol, from Ashford, works as a medical secretary and was surprised to see so many colleagues who had travelled from as far away as Northampton to join the gathering. Senior partner Dr Roz Waller paid tribute to her commitment to patients and her sense of humour. The doctors presented her with a voucher for a weekend away, another colleague produced a celebration cake, and other gifts from colleagues included a glass vase, an amber necklace, a collage of photos spanning the 25 years and a framed poem. Carol said one of the reasons she had stayed at Wye for 25 years was because of the great team spirit.
