Kentish Express Ashford & District - - OPINION -

A MYSTERIOUS big cat has been spotted in Tenterden. A couple walking in a field beyond the Kent & East Sussex Railway reported seeing a large black cat on Saturday afternoon. Big cat expert Neil Arnold said: “It was the size of a collie dog and bolted from the undergrowth, 30 feet away. “The cat had a very long thick tail and was in view for about 10 seconds as it sped toward a hedge, where it disappeared out of sight.” He added: “This is one of a few cats populating this specific area and also Woodchurch, Cranbrook and Hawkhurst – although these cats have vast territories.”
