Kentish Express Ashford & District - - COUNTRYFILE -

AMANDA was so moved by Steve’s plight that she vowed to do everything in her power to raise awareness of the disease. Despite her fear of heights, Amanda will be doing a parachute jump at Headcorn Aerodrome on Saturday, April 7, from a minimum of 10,000ft. She said: “There is no government funding for motor neurone disease, yet it can affect anybody at any time.” More than £1,000 has already been raised in sponsorship and more is flooding in. Phoenix School in Bybrook is sponsoring Amanda through some of the proceeds it raised from Red Nose Day.
