It’s all about queue as McFly gig sells out fast

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - SOUNDS GOOD -

THE queue went on and on – and luckily everyone in it got a precious ticket to see boy band McFly when they come to Folkestone on May 5. The Leas Cliff Hall saw all 1,500 tickets – its full capacity – go in just an hour and a half on Saturday morning. General manager Stephen Levine said: “It’s staggering, though it was more or less what we expected. “They are one of the big names at the moment and it comes on the back of bands like Kings of Leon, plus other big shows that are coming up. “We managed to deal with everybody in the queue, but people who turned up later didn’t get a ticket.”
