CHILDREN at Aldington Primary School got all creative and put on their own adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. The seven and eight-yearolds impressed parents with their version of the classic tale during a halfhour show last week. School secretary Jackie Penny said: “The children did it all themselves, they designed the programme, the tickets and wrote the script. “They have been doing it for the last five weeks. “They started with learning the story and watching a DVD of it.” She said the children got into small groups to write each scene and performed a dress rehearsal to the whole school before inviting parents along.
