TWO hot tubs have been stolen from a garden centre in Bethersden.

The tubs, worth a combined £15,000, were taken from Kent Hot Tubs and Spas, which is based at Greenway Garden Centre, in Ashford Road.

The theft took place in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Owner of the spa company, Martin Hughes, said: “They smashed through the garden centre gates and lifted them off their plinths.

“They emptied them of water but they are still massive, I don’t know how they did it.

“This is a small business so this is a huge problem for me as they smashed up another one trying to get out.”

One is a Thunder Bay model made of cedar red wood with a burgundy lid with a split in it.

The other is a Yukon with a grey lid.
