Zana takes plunge for liver charity
A BRAVE teenager has raised hundreds of pounds for a liver disease charity by jumping out of a plane. Zana Beasley, 17, of Washford Farm Road, has raised almost £800 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation through her latest stunt. Two years ago the Highworth pupil was diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease which means her body rejects her liver. She said: “The jump was brilliant. I was nervous but once you jump out, it’s so amazing and surreal. “I would like to thank the William Harvey pub and Wilkinson as well as my friends and family for sponsoring me. Last year Zana held a coffee morning which raised £300 for the charity, and this time round she was helped by her dad who shaved his head to rally sponsorship. “Now I am trying to think of the next thing I can do,” she said.
