Organisers should consider residents
I READ with interest that a charity boot fair will be held at the market, Oribital Park on Sunday, May 7. And the choice of charities couldn’t be better. However, I would like the organisers at the market to consider local residents in South Willesborough. Firstly the start time of 7am. People who have to get up early
for work six days of the week like to use Sunday’s as a “liein” day. With boot fair traffic having to use the entrance going over the cattle rung, to gain entrance, this is not possible. Perhaps the top entrance could be used instead. Secondly, can the market organisers make some provision for the car parking thus releasing the South Willesborough roads of extra unwanted cars parked? Thirdly, will the market arrange for litter pickers to come out after the event, to clear-up the litter and dirty nappies left where cars have been parked? South Willesborough residents are fed-up with this problem, week after week. Margaret Pryke, South Willesborough.
