Kentish Express Ashford & District - - OPINION -

THE PILGRIMS Hospices have received a big cash boost. Managing director Derek Gilbert and Sue Barlow from Ashford based construction giants the GCE Group have handed over a huge £17,766.65p cheque to trustee Dr Richard Morley to aid the work of the Pilgrims hospices across east Kent. The cash was raised by the company that organised the charity’s silver anniversary ball at Ashford International Hotel where actor Shaun Williamson and his band provided the entertainment for 240 guests. Sue Barlow said: “We are grateful to all those who attended the Ball and to the many local and county wide businesses for their support and donations, without which, it would not have been possible to raise such a superb amount.”
