Chance to raise money in style
TRADERS at Evegate Craft Centre in Smeeth are united in their efforts to raise money for Ashford Pilgrims Hospice. Owner Eric Jeanes, who has been a long-time supporter of the charity, is paying for a marquee and flooring so they can stage spectacular fashion shows on Sunday, May 20. Events will start at 2.30pm with the first catwalk show at 3pm. First children will model Posh Tots clothes before customers and friends will wear Papillon’s leisure wear. After a short break it will be a display of Italian James Lakeland outfits, designer hats by Get Ahead Hats and evening wear by Cinderella’s with Ottewill silversmiths jewellery displayed.
Tickets at £10, which includes wine, canapes from Barbara Clark fine foods, and a goodie bag for each lady, are on sale now from all Evegate outlets or from 07771 935480.
