Chance to raise money in style

TRADERS at Eve­g­ate Craft Cen­tre in Smeeth are united in their ef­forts to raise money for Ash­ford Pil­grims Hospice. Owner Eric Jeanes, who has been a long-time sup­porter of the char­ity, is pay­ing for a mar­quee and floor­ing so they can stage spec­tac­u­lar fash­ion shows on Sun­day, May 20. Events will start at 2.30pm with the first cat­walk show at 3pm. First chil­dren will model Posh Tots clothes be­fore cus­tomers and friends will wear Pa­pil­lon’s leisure wear. Af­ter a short break it will be a dis­play of Ital­ian James Lake­land out­fits, de­signer hats by Get Ahead Hats and evening wear by Cin­derella’s with Ot­tewill sil­ver­smiths jew­ellery dis­played.

Tick­ets at £10, which in­cludes wine, canapes from Bar­bara Clark fine foods, and a goodie bag for each lady, are on sale now from all Eve­g­ate out­lets or from 07771 935480.
