Motorway petition reaches milestone.

MORE than 1,000 people have now signed our petition to ease traffic chaos at the M20 junction 10 roundabout.

Each week our Keep Junction 10 Moving campaign has gained more and more support.

Hundreds of motorists have put their name to our petition online or at our offices in North Street, Ashford.

They have also been posting their views on our online Speak Out.

The petition will be presented to The Highways Agency in the next few days, with the aim of encouraging officials to find a suitable solution to controlling the roundabout when the roadworks end in June.

For many of those who have shared their views, the suitable solution would be removing the traffic lights.

Road chiefs were due to hold discussions this week as to how the roundabout will operate once the construction work is completed.

Add your comments about junction 10. Visit the Speak Out section of our website at kentonline.co.uk or write to Kentish Express, 34-36 North Street, Ashford, Kent TN24 8JR or e-mail kentishexpress@ thekmgroup.co.uk
