Goodwill is most precious resource

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - OPINION -

MANY people have protested through your columns about the loss of plastic recycling facilities in Kent. It is interesting that people are genuinely disappointed and upset. They want to recycle as much of their waste as possible and they want to feel that they are making a difference to the future of our planet. Our policy-makers need to consider the psychology of recycling. Disappointed and angry people may now feel that there is no point recycling anything. Public policy on recycling needs to move forward confidently and strongly, not taking drastic U-turns like this. The goodwill in the general
