INTERVIEW: Pupils ask our reporters about earthquake

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - REMEMBER WHEN? -

FASCINATED and stunned by earthquake scenes on television, children at a village primary school were eager to find out more – so they got in touch with the Kentish Express. Pupils asked if our reporters could visit the school to give first-hand accounts of the experience and so Jo Robertson and Jane Barlow went along. Year 5 and Year 6 pupils at Goodnestone Primary School, between Canterbury and Dover, asked what the earthquake felt like, how people reacted and if Dave the Dolphin had survived it! The youngsters are creating their own newspaper and also picked up some tips on writing articles.
