Hearing aid clinic
PEOPLE who use hearing aids can get free help and advice at a clinic in Bethersden village hall. The clinic is run by Hi Kent, a charity which helps deaf people and people with hearing problems, and was opened last Wednesday. People with NHS aids can drop in and get them cleaned and re-tubed and collect fresh batteries for free. They can also get advice and information about Hi Kent’s wide range of equipment, including special door entry systems, smoke alarms, telephones, conversation aids and devices to help you listen to the television.
