SOME 200 people gathered at the Willows Centre in Ashford on Saturday, to pick up handy hints on keeping healthy. Organised by Sure Start, the free event included a variety of stalls giving advice on speech and language, dental hygiene, fire safety, young carers support, yoga, slimming advice and much more. Children were entertained with face painting, craft activities, a bouncy castle and disco. “It was a great opportunity to showcase all the services that we offer here at Sure Start as we had most of our staff on hand to promote all we have to offer,” said Tracey Sutton, community development worker at Sure Start. “We have a great team here who are always willing to give up their time for the good of the community.”
