Junior jousters enjoy day dressed as knights
CHILDREN took a step back in time when they took part in a medieval workshop.
Pupils from Kennington Junior School saw the legends they have been learning about King Arthur brought to life.
Throughout the week they took part in workshops, including juggling, embroidery and medieval dance, as well as performing legends and writing ballads.
They also mastered the art of tilting, a form of jousting.
At the end of the week, children and teachers dressed in medieval costume and, after taking part in a maths quest, tucked into a medieval-style feast.
