Swinging time to help hospital
THE Richard Stevens Stroke Unit at the William Harvey Hospital has benefited from the efforts of golfers at Nigel Champion’s annual Birthday Golf Bash at Romney Warren. The charity event is held annually and raises money for local charities, including the Kent Air Ambulance Service and Kent hospices. This year some of the money went to the unit at the William Harvey to provide a support chair for the use of stroke victims.
