Staffordshire bull terrier was girl’s birthday present

A YOUNGSTER is without her best friend since her dog went missing.

Five-year-old Melina AlebiosuJarvis was given Staffordshire bull terrier Ragga, as a present for her fourth birthday.

The brown and white dog went missing last Monday from the garden of the family home in Hitherfield, Charing, between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

Mum Melanie Jarvis, 25, said: “My daughter is so upset, we’ve been out looking everywhere.

“We have a 6ft fence around our garden so unless he has jumped over that, someone has taken him.

“He is such a friendly dog and he is part of the family. We just want him back.”

Anyone with information on the missing dog is asked to call Ashford police on 01233 896123 or the dog warden on 01233 330576.
