Hotel treat for the best name
ASHFORD International Hotel is set to unveil its new restaurant this August – but needs suggestions as to what it should be called.
In a bid to come up with a suitable name, the hotel in Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford, is running a competition to give people the chance to select a suitable title.
The winner will name the restaurant, as well as receiving a meal for two with an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s refurbished bedrooms.
General manager Deirdre Billing said: “This is a really exciting time for the hotel. We wanted people from the local area to be involved and this was the ideal opportunity.”
The new restaurant will be redesigned into a brasserie-style 180-seat venue.
The refurbishment of the restaurant is part of the £7.5 million investment under way by the hotel’s owners, QHotels.
The renovations will also include the hotel’s 179 guest bedrooms, the conference and event facilities, and the Reflections health, fitness and spa facilities and Technogym facilities.
Send your entry for the restaurant naming competition with your name, address and telephone number by June 1 to: New Restaurant Name, Ashford International Hotel, Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford, or e-mail: email@example.com
