MOTORCYCLE enthusiasts turned out in force at a special meeting of the Norman Cycles Club. More than 20 bikes turned up at Willesborough windmill on Sunday for the event. Some bikes dated back to the 1940s. Club member Gary Pilcher said: “There were more bikes than we’ve ever had before and we also had quite a few past employees from the old Norman Cycles factory in the town.” The club, founded in 2000, has about 160 members, whose aim is to restore the old Norman bikes. Mr Pilcher added: “Days like these are great because we can swap parts and get the chance to catch up.”
