Fund-raising in style
CLOTHES for men, women and children were modelled at a charity fashion show at the Evegate Craft Centre. Friends, families and colleagues came to the centre at Smeeth to watch two fashion parades on Sunday. Volunteers were modelling clothes, hats and jewellery from the stores in the centre. Organiser Heike Homerstone, who runs clothes shop Papillon, said: “It was a great afternoon and we are so grateful for everyone who took part in the catwalks and those who donated prizes for the raffle.” The event raised £2,435 for the Pilgrims Hospice.
