Engine enthusiasts steam in
THERE’S only one place to be this bank holiday weekend if you are a steam engine enthusiast, and that’s Sellindge.
Started by engine enthusiasts 37 years ago the annual May bank holiday Sellindge Steam Special has grown into one of the premier countryside events across southern England.
This year organisers are planning to make it bigger and better than ever with additional attractions including bungee jumping, a line-up of 80 plus bands, and exotic food from around the world on offer at the three-day event.
All the profits for the spectacular show, which runs from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday, go to charity with the Pilgrims Hospice being one of the major benefactors.
