BRI­TISH Food Fort­night cel­e­brates the va­ri­ety and qual­ity of food pro­duced in Bri­tain and Wye farm­ers’ mar­ket will of­fer vis­i­tors the chance to find out more about it this Satur­day on the vil­lage green from 9am un­til noon. Foods cur­rently in sea­son in­clude black­ber­ries, ap­ples, pears, mush­rooms, French and run­ner beans, sweet­corn, pota­toes, car­rots, beet­root, chard, parsnips, spinach and red cab­bage.
