I was ridiculed for my warnings

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Opinion -

IT BEGGARS belief that those who supposedly monitor the financial affairs in the UK, America and other countries failed to see what was a frenzy of greed coupled with an orgy of mismanagement. It is a disgrace and those involved must surely be bought to book. I have been forecasting the current situation over the last six years and I have faced ridicule and derision from many and now those “many” are agreeing with me and saying “how did you know”? It was so obvious. The majority of us have been and still are sleep-walking into disaster. The housing market was completely unsustainable, prices forced up by those with vested interest with scant care for the interest of those who would have to take on these debts as generations pass. The “good” days are over. J. Hoad, Thornden Lane, Rolvenden.
