Bee­keeper ses­sions

ASH­FORD bee­keep­ers have com­pleted a suc­cess­ful sum­mer with a se­ries of meet­ings and open days at their Cheese­man’s Green teach­ing api­ary.

Al­though the out­door ac­tiv­i­ties may have now come to an end with the honey har­vest col­lected and bees pre­pared for win­ter, the ed­u­ca­tion ses­sions con­tinue.

Free monthly meet­ings will be held from Oc­to­ber to March at St Mary’s Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, Ry­lands Road, Ken­ning­ton. The first to­mor­row (Fri­day) at 7.30pm will fea­ture a talk by Jeanne Peter­son about The Aspinall Foun­da­tion and Howletts and Port Lympne an­i­mal parks.
