ASHFORD Designer Outlet is turning pink again to take part in Britain’s largest fund-raising event – Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Shoppers will be invited to join retailers at the centre in the month-long campaign that runs throughout October and includes a host of in-store activities and competitions. The Mid-Kent Breast Cancer Research Appeal has been selected as the centre’s partner for its fund-raising efforts. Outlet Centre manager David Maddison said: “There are lots of ways shoppers can take part across the whole month, with many of our stores planning their own events and activities. “Last year we managed to raise over £2,000 for the appeal and hope that this year we can do even better.”
